Lengo la FIFA ni kudumisha umoja, vipi Brazil?

Moja ya lengo kubwa la shirikisho la mpira wa miguu duniani FIFA ni kuwaweka pamoja wanajamii ikiwemo wacheza mpira na jamii inayowazunguka. Lakini kinachoendelea sasa nchini Brazil hakioneshi dhamira ya dhati ya kuunganisha jamii kupitia mpira wa miguu na badala yake mpira wa miguu umekuwa ni chanzo cha vurugu na mauwaji. Wanadiplomasia duniani kote wanaamini FIFA kwa kushirikiana na serikali ya Brazil wanauwezo wa kutatua tatizo lililopo nchini Brazil na kuifanya michuano ya mabara kufanyika katika hali ya amani. Wanadiplomasia hao wamesema, FIFA wenyewe ndiyo wamekuwa chanzo kikubwa cha vurugu hizi kuongezeka kwani kauli aliyoitoa Sepp Blatter kuwa 'hata kama vurugu zipo michuano ya mabara itaendelea kama ilivyopangwa bila kusimama', kauli hii ndiyo imeongeza jazba kwa waandamaji kwani waliamini FIFA ingekuwa upande wao ili iongee na serikali na wananchi waweze kupatia mahitaji yao muhimu bila kuathiri michuano hii. Lakini FIFA imekuwa binafsi kwa vile serikali imetenga kiasi cha fedha kitakacho kidhi mahitaji ya shirikisho hilo, hivyo FIFA wanaonekana hawana mpango na jamii ya Wabrazil. Mawazo ya wanadiplomasia yanasema, FIFA wana uwezo wa kuishinikiza serikali itoe fedha kwa ajili ya huduma za kijamii kama afya, elimu na usafiri, na vilevile FIFA iibane serikali kwa kuitishia kuhamisha michuano ya kombe la dunia kama jamii ikishindwa kupata mahitaji yao muhumi, kwani nchi za Uingereza, Hispania, Ujerumani na Italia wakati wote zimekuwa ni mpango mbadala kwa FIFA kuandaa michuano ya kombe la dunia.
